You Are An Overcomer!

Wow! Is it true? This is a great thought to ponder. If this is true do we want to wrestle with the pigs? Do we want to spend time with others who live in fear?

In my study of life and becoming an energy practitioner I have come to find some answers along the way that I feel are imperative to understand and strive to incorporate into my life.

TRUE: Fear is one of the lowest vibrating emotions.
TRUE: We will all encounter fear at some point on our journey.
TRUE: No one wants to feel fear.
FALSE: It is best to sweep fear under the rug.

During some energy studies with a wonderful friend and co energy worker by the name of Tobilynn Shaw  she shared this important truth with me. "Emotional Maturity is when we are able to allow and experience all the emotion."

Emotions are a very specially selected set of tools that are powerful teachers for the body, mind and spirit. They have a mission to serve us, teach us and help us to grow, to respond and to develop our character as individuals.

Sweeping an emotion such as fear under a rug will never really go away, rather it may grow, fester and attract into our lives the very things we are trying so hard to avoid.

Rather when we are able to allow and accept an emotion that presents itself in us (or to another person in our field)  there is a lesson, a personal message for us.

TRUTH: Fear has a lesson attached to it. It will often clearly point the direction of what it is we truly need to know and do. About what we really want.

How long we choose to entertain the emotional message can be the tricky part. I recently experienced some negative emotions that motivated me to sit and write these lessons down.

  1. Identify the emotion(s) you are feeling
  2. Acknowledge the emotion(s) presenting itself.
  3. ASK "____(emotion)_____ what are you here to teach me?"
  4. Find the lesson. What are the opposite emotions available?
  5. Say "I am learning  ____. I see that ____ is important for me to understand/know.
  6. Say "I choose to feel ______"
  7. Now what are 2 action steps you can take right now to choose the opposite emotion?
    1. I will ____
    2. I will ____
  8. Thank-you ___(old emotion)___ for coming to teach me that ___(the new emotion)___is what I really want to feel. I have grown through this experience for the better already:)

In looking at the lessons of the emotions we can clearly see that they are perfectly designed to educate us through our experience of them. When we try to resist or ignore an emotion, it will come out sooner or later.

It is not that the emotion is wrong or right but what we choose to do with it when it arrives. When we hold on to a negative emotion for too long, it will create havoc in our lives.

We live an emotion by emotion self taught experience. I hope to be a great student in my emotional studies and with awareness quickly apply the lessons just for me. Emotions can serve us very well.

 POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS:
